MegaSys Computer Technologies is pleased to announce the 2008 Telenium Technical Workshop, which is tentatively scheduled from July 8-11 in Calgary, Alberta.

Registration information and course schedules will become available once they have been finalized, so check back here often. Attendees can take advantage of some or all of the courses MegaSys has to offer on how to maximize the difference that Telenium makes to your business! Some of our previous courses have included:

Foundations in Service Management - An in-depth discussion of Telenium Service Management, including basic terms and definitions; circuits, facilities, pipes and customers; representing service features in the system; and introducing new Telenium tools.

Telenium Client Suite Administration - This course provides system administrators with the knowledge and skills necessary to configure and control the Telenium Client suite of products. They learn to:
• Control user access to each Telenium Client Application
• Define system wide defaults for Telenium Client Applications.

Using Geographical Mapping - Using Microsoft® MapPoint®, participants build a user interface linking their network elements geographically to the Telenium database as well as implementing pipes and super-pipes for those customers using the facilities database.

Designing Custom Reports - Using Microsoft Access®, design and create custom reports based on your specific requirements of information in your Telenium database.

GED Fundamentals - Building custom graphics and leveraging off existing Telenium graphics with the GED Graphic Editor.

Using Perl with Telenium - Perl provides a powerful scripting language that interfaces directly with the Telenium database. Participants will be exposed to the API (Application Programming Interface) between Perl and Telenium. Attendees should have previous experience with Perl.

Navigating the Telenium Database - Participants are introduced to the structure of the Telenium database, and will gain understanding of the information available and how to manipulate it.

(Please note that all of the above are courses that have been previously offered by MegaSys, and have not been finalized for the 2008 Technical Seminar. A complete list of courses for 2008 will be available once the Workshop schedule has been finalized, and registration will be available at that time.)
