MegaSys™ is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract from Southern Co. of Atlanta, GA to deploy the Telenium™ advanced network management system. The Telenium fault tolerant system will provide Southern Co. with a high performance and massively scalable system to monitor and control Southern’s radio network and local/remote environmental points.
The Telenium system was delivered and initial connectivity to live equipment occurred in less than one week. This was critical to Southern as they were initiating an upgrade path from legacy equipment and a smooth transition was imperative.
Also included as part of this project was the implementation of “North-Bound” interfaces that allows the Telenium system to send messages to existing “manager-of-managers” systems.
