Calgary, Alberta, August 13, 2002: MegaSys Computer Technologies and Metro-Optix have completed detailed interoperability tests between the Telenium Global NMS solution and the CityStream 5000 product family.
“Metro-Optix was extremely cooperative during the interoperability testing. This always leads to excellent support for the advanced Metro-Optix network elements within the Telenium framework,” states Dave Woronuk, President and CEO of MegaSys. “The interoperability tests and detailed product qualification process ensure that the Telenium Advanced Network Management System and the CityStream products will operate seamlessly in advanced metro network solutions.”
Telenium customers can implement or expand their metro networks with the CityStream products, and be assured that Telenium will continue to provide complete FCAPS management of their network.
Future CityStream product releases will be completely integrated and Telenium model releases will be synchronized with software releases from Metro-Optix for ongoing uninterrupted operation.
